Eligible Criteria for SAIL Bhilai Recruitment 2015
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 28 years as on 09-11-2015. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST. Ex-serviceman candidates will be granted age relaxation as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation with valid Driving License for Heavy Motor Vehicles.
Selection Process: Provisionally eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Written Test, information for which will be provided in the Admit Card. Candidates shortlished on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be intimated to appear in Physical Ability Test (PAT) cum Driving Test and Interview through “Careers page” of SAIL website or they may need to download call letter for the same. Weightage of marks for written test, physical ability test cum driving test and interview will be in the ratio of 75:10:15 respectively.
Application Fee: General & OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs.150/- as on Application & Processing fe through online by using debit card/ credit card/ internet banking. SC/ ST/ PwD candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

2. Operator cum Technician (Trainee):- Rs.16800-3%-24110/- (S-3)
Educational Qualification :
For the Post of ACT (Trainee):- Matriculation with ITI from Govt. recognized Institution in the following trades (Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Instrument Mechanic, Diesel Machanic, Turner and Machinist). For HVD Trade:- Matriculation with Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD) License having one year experience in Operation of any Heavy Vehicle as on 01-12-2014.
For OCT (Trainee):- Diploma Holder- Matriculation and three years full time Diploma in Engineering from a Govt. recognized institute in the following disciplines (Metallurgy, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electronics, Instrumentation and Civil).
For OCT – Boiler Operation:- Matriculation and three years full time Diploma in Engineering from a Govt. recognized institute with either First Class or Second Class certificate of Boiler Attendant Competency as on 01-12-2014.
Selection Process : Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Written Test, information for which will be provided in the Admit Card. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be intimated to appear in Interview.
Application Fee : General & OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs.250/- as on Application & Processing fee for Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) post and Rs.150/- for Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) post and for Departmental Candidates pay Rs.50/- through online by using debit card/ credit card/ internet banking. Eligible Criteria for SAIL Bhilai Recruitment 2015
Age Limit : Candidates age limit should be between 28 years for ACT (T) and OCT (T) as on 01-12-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules. For the post of ACT (Trainee), relaxation in age up to 40 years as on 01-12-2014 shall be admissible to ex-Trade Apprentices of Bhilai Steel Plant who have passed AITI (68 to 75 batch) up to the year 2001. For OCT Boiler Operation minimum 18 years & Maximum 30 years as on 01-12-2014.
Educational Qualification :
For the Post of ACT (Trainee):- Matriculation with ITI from Govt. recognized Institution in the following trades (Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Instrument Mechanic, Diesel Machanic, Turner and Machinist).
