Eligibility Criteria for Prasar Bharati Port Blair Recruitment 2015
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have complete Diploma in Journalism / MMass Communication / Radio and TV Journalism, experience in broadcast journalism and handling reporting assignment.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 45 years as on 30.10.2015.
Nature of Job: Editing of news and compilation of news bulleting and News gathering and reporting for national and regional news bulletins.

Note:
1. Candidates residing in Port Blair Municipal area only are eligible for applying for this post.
2. All the applicants for the News Editor short terms contractual requirements must be alumni of a recognized University.
3. Proficiency in Hindi is a must. Knowledge of other language(s) may be considered as addition merit.
4. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for interviews / test.
5. The contractual engagement will be purely on temporary basis, will have no claim for regularization and terminable on one month’s notice either side.
6. The consolidated / fixed remuneration will not attract any perks.
7. The persons engaged on full time basis will not be allowed to take any other assignment during the period of contractual engagement.
