Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2015

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have complete Matriculation / Intermediate from any recognized Board / Council / Intermediate or its equivalent qualification.
Age Limit : (On last day of receipt of application)
a) Unreserved : 18 years to 25 years
b) OBC : 18 years to 28 years
c) SC and ST : 18 years to 30 years
d) Ex-Serviceman : 18 years to 25 years (service rendered in Army / Air Force / Navy + 03 years should not be more than 25 years on the last day of receipt of application).
Physical Std for the Post of Tradesman Mate : Should be in sound health.
Physical Std for the Post of Fireman : Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must pass the tests specified below :-
a) Height without shoes – 165 cms provided that a concession of 2.5 cms height shall be allowed for members of the Scheduled Tribes.
b) Chest (Normally) – 81.5 cms
b) Chest (On expansion) : 85 cms
c) Chest (On expansion) : 85 cms
d) Wight : 50 Kgs (Minimum)
e) Edurance Test :
i) Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 meter within 96 Seconds).
ii) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump).
iii) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.
>> The following screening tests are likely to be conducted for post of Tradesman Mate and Fireman :- (The timings & acceptable standard will be informed during the physical test).
a) Running – 1600 Mtrs b) Sit Ups c) Chin Ups d) Lifting of 50 Kgs weight e) Stacking of Packages f) Written Test g) Interview.
>> The following screening tests are likely to be conducted for post of LDC :-
a) Written Test b) Interview c) English Typing @ 35 w.p.m and Hindi typing @ 30 w.p.m on computer.
>> All tests for the post of Tradesman Mate, Fireman and LDC will be held on screening basis i.e. the candidates have to pass in the first test in order to be eligible for the second test and so on.
>> Following documents to be attached with the application :
a) Affix recent passport size photographs, facing Camera. All photographs duly attested by Gazetted Officer.
b) One self addressed envelope duly stamped with Rs.25/- and size 12 x 18 cm for dispatch of acknowledgement / admit card in Regd post.
c) Attested photocopies of the following :-
i) Birth certificate or Metric / Higher Secondary School Certificate or the equivalent of School leaving certificate or an affidavit from the court showing date of birth.
ii) Educational certificate duly attested by gazetted Officer.
iii) Certificate issued by the competent authority in support of the claim of OBC / SC / ST / Ex- Servicemen / Physically Handicapped (PH) and Meritorious Sportsman.
iv) Current Employment Exchange Registration Card if held.
v) Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority.
vi) Any other documents relevant in support of information furnished in the application form.

Eligible and Willing candidates can apply in the prescribed format which can be downloaded from the MOD official Website i.e. www.mod.nic.in and may forwarded application to the Commanding Officer, 6 Mountain Division Ordance Unit, PIN – 909006, c/o 56 APO as per format envelope duly affixed with 25/- stamp within 21 days of publication of the advertisement duly indicating the post applied for on the top of envelope i.e. “Application for the post of ………”. No application will be accepted and no admission card will be forwarded for application received after 1800h on last date of receipt of application. “Depending upon the number of applications received the unit reserves the right to short listed the number of applicants to be called for physical test following a rational / logical criteria to be recorded in writing in the board proceedings”.
NOTE : No application will be accepted by hand in the unit. All application will be accepted only through post.

Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Defence LDC Recruitment 2015

Educational Qualification :
a) Candidates should have 12th class Pass or its equivalent qualification from any recognized Board / University / Institution.
b) Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
Desirable : Basic knowled in Computers
Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 18 years to 27 years (for General Candidates).
Age Relaxation :
a) For SC / ST / OBC / PH / Ex-Serviceman as per Govt. Rules.
b) Relaxable for Govt. servants up to the age of 40 years in case of General candidates and 45 years in case of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
NOTE : The age relaxation for the Govt. servants candidate will be admissible where and mployee has rendered not less than three years regular service under Central Government.
Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 + GP of Rs.1900 plus allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees from time to time. New pension Scheme will be applicable.
Crucial Date : The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from the candidates.
Selection Process : The selection of the candidate will be based on Written Test , Typing Test, Interview, Medical Fitness and character verification from concerned authority.
